No two TikTok FYPs are the same. But amid tarot readings taking over one person’s page and dogs testing enrichment toys on another, one thing is all but guaranteed: a viral product.
While some types of viral posts are exclusive to their respective platforms, a ton of products that have popped up on TikTok are also prominent on Facebook or Instagram. (That’s how your cousin who’s three months behind the memes immediately knew what leggings were.) There’s just something universally compelling about an ordinary person expressing their enthusiasm for something. thing she bought – not because she got paid to make a calculated YouTube video about it, but because they honestly thought others would like to know.

Windmill Air has taken on the overdue task of disengaging the humble window air conditioner – because can any of us really remember ever seeing an air conditioner that doesn’t look older than us? Trader Joe’s hive, please stand up. The grocery chain has resurrected its popular Ube Mochi Pancake and Waffle Mix for a second airing in May 2022. TikTok breakfast fans are simply obsessed with that nutty vanilla flavor, chewy texture, and signature purple hue. . The influx of stores has been so intense that many locations are limiting each customer to two boxes.

Amazon’s description says “Great for parties and home nightclubs.” TikTok says “Great for any room at any time.” Maximalist interior decor trumps the strictly curated two-tone aesthetic of recent years (a change predicted by one astrologer).
