Ohio Transmission Co. closes wave of year-end deals by acquiring diversified pump

It’s been a hell of a week for the Ohio Transmission Corporation. In a very good way.

On December 17, the Columbus, OH-based industrial equipment distributor and service provider – No.22 on Industrial distribution‘s 2021 Big 50 List – Announced its fourth acquisition in as many days.

The latest addition is Diversified Pump, a supplier of pumps, heat exchangers, gas compressors and services to industrial customers throughout the New England area. OTC said Brentwood, NH-based Diversified Pump has 10 employees who provide sales and service for all types of pumps, compressors, vacuum pumps, mechanical seals and unlimited system capacities in the region.

Diversified Pump will operate as part of OTC’s Pump Motor Technologies segment.

It follows the acquisitions announced by OTC of: AAP Automation announced on December 16; TP Pump announced on December 15; and Critical Rental Solutions were announced on December 14. OTC gains 122 employees combined with the additions: 10 of Diversified Pump; 55 of the AAP; 15 of TP; and 42 from CRS. These additions bring OTC’s total workforce to approximately 1,600 and over 60 locations in the United States, as well as nearly 40 service stores.
