Jesse Lee Church offers in-person Christmas Eve candlelit services

Jesse Lee Church has scheduled candle light worship services on Christmas Eve at 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. Communion compliant with COVID will be served to everyone. The 11:00 p.m. service is also available via Livestream.

With the rise in COVID infections, Jesse Lee is following CDC guidelines that require everyone in the building, except those speaking on duty, to wear face masks. Those who address the congregation as part of the service are required to return their masks at the end of their presentations.

Jesse Lee’s Sanctuary is equipped with eight ionizing HEPA filters that constantly filter the air. This, along with masking, helps to minimize the risk of transmitting the virus.

We encourage people who have received their primary COVID-19 vaccination from Pfizer or Moderna in the past six months, and those who have received a Johnson & Johnson vaccine in the past two months, to pray with us in person. We also encourage people who received their primary COVID-19 vaccine from Pfizer or Moderna more than six months ago and had a booster, and people who received a Johnson & Johnson vaccine more than two months ago and have received a Pfizer or Moderna reminder, to worship with us in person. Please register for the service in person at your preferred time via this SignUpGenius HERE

We invite everyone else to take advantage of the service via the 11pm livestream or on demand after the livestream has aired. Livestream worshipers can pick up a candle from a box on the bench under the entrance to the Sanctuary Bridge prior to the 11pm Sanctuary Service livestream so they can light their candles with the rest of the worshipers during the service.

We thank everyone for their cooperation and caution.

Merry Christmas!
