American Rescue Plan Act: Nonpublic School Emergency Assistance Program Needs Assessment: California Department of Education
A program sponsored under the American Rescue Plan Act to provide funding to private nonpublic schools and eligible nonpublic schools
As part of ARP 2021, Public Law 117-2, Public Law 117-2, Congress set aside $2.75 billion from the Governor’s Emergency Education Assistance Fund specifically to provide emergency assistance to students and teachers in Non-Public Schools (NPS), as defined below, through the ARP EANS program. The objective of the ARP EANS program is to provide services or assistance to NPSs who enroll a significant percentage of students from low-income families who are most affected by the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID- 19).
The needs assessment window is March 25 to April 8, 2022. All submissions must be received by 5:00 p.m. to April 8, 2022.
The survey consists of two parts: Part A: Cover Page and Part B: Supplier Selection and Services. A completed spreadsheet will be uploaded as an attachment in Part B as an Excel file
The Supplier Selection and Services Excel file is available on the CDE EANS Program webpage. All questions are mandatory except those listed next to the question in parentheses.
