Hawx Pest Control partners with One Tree Planted

Hawx Pest Control, based in Odgen, Utah, announced a partnership with One Tree Planted to positively impact nature, wildlife and people. Dan Baldwin, BCE, CCFS, CP-FS, is the Vice President of Technical Services for Hawx Pest Control and is also one of pest control professional the magazine’s “Ask the Expert” columnists.

For every new Hawx Pest Control customer, a tree will be planted that will contribute to a greener, healthier planet. One Tree Planted describes itself as “a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that has projects around the world to rebuild forests after fires and floods, provide social impact jobs, and restore biodiversity” .

“Working with One Tree Planted is a natural extension of our work,” said Matt Mehr, president of Hawx Pest Control. “Healthy yards and homes are core to our business model, and while we work hard every day to keep the people in these homes healthy, it’s great to have yet another way to make a difference. .”

In addition to ensuring that existing trees have prime environments for health, Hawx Pest Control partners with One Tree Planted to prioritize support for significant and reforestation efforts.

“Planting trees is one of the best ways to combat the pervasive and growing damage to the environment,” says Hawx Pest Control’s press release. “Trees are an important part of nature’s efforts to clean the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, and provide habitat for more than 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity.
